Bryan Brigham, President Born and raised in San Diego. I met and married my wife Margie who is also a San Diego native. We were married in 1990 and moved to Rancho Bernardo. We have 2 children Chris & Katie. In the years that our children were growing up we utilized the community park in many ways. My children were involved in soccer, little league, traveling baseball, softball, and cheer leading for Pop Warner football. Both have since graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School and have gone onto college; and Chris also is serving in the US Army. I have been a board member, coach & manager for RBYSA, RBGSL, RBLL, & RBPW. I have been on the Recreation Council for 8 years. During my time with the RBRC I have been on the election committee, Vice President, & currently the President. I am employed as a Fire Inspector for a local company and also held a C-36 Plumbing License. I also am certified as a Backflow Technician. I will soon be enjoying the park in the manner I enjoy most coaching. This time it will be to help my son coach and teach my grandson baseball. |

Jean Davis Being a member of the Rancho Bernardo Recreation Council is important to me and my goal is to maintain and improve our community’s recreational offerings. I was born in California and have lived in several communities in our state. I have appreciated the exceptional facilities in this community since moving here in August of 2009. I love wonderful Rancho Bernardo and the friendliness of the community. I work as a small business partner in a promotional business with one of our two daughters and also like to take time to play tennis, golf and hike. Previously I served as a classroom elementary and middle school teacher and as a physical education teacher. I held the needs of the child athlete and their parents foremost in my efforts. Acting as athletic director of a middle school in Monterey County I helped determine policy and hired of coaches while serving the needs of the various teams and coordinated the multiple use of fields and courts. While volunteering as chair of a children’s ministry in San Clemente I improved playground safety and oversaw hiring for the preschool positions, curriculum, staff training and background checks of volunteers. Going forward as a RB Recreation Council Member, I am particularly interested in hearing from groups and individuals regarding their recreational concerns. |
